Mid Tex Mod is excited to announce the locations for our virtual Burger Trail, part of DOCOMOMO’s US Tour Day 2021 celebrating mid-century travel and leisure! We’re featuring the iconic Health Camp in Waco, TX, Snapka’s in Corpus Christi, Top Notch in Austin, and Bun ‘n’ Barrel in San Antonio. Take your taste buds on a fantastic trip down memory lane. These drive-ins have been serving up Texas-sized taste for over half a century. From burgers and shakes to tacos made with a top-secret family recipe, these family-owned restaurants represent the best of mid-century American food in Central Texas.
